evening at the home of her daughter and son –in- law : Shirley

Annabel, my dear and precious mom is finally at home resting in peace
with her best friend and savior, Jesus. Her calmness and patience as she waited for Him to call her home was an inspiration to her treasured family that they will carry with them always.

He allowed her 19 years to live on dialysis and most of those years until recently she did so very well, never complaining or feeling sorry for herself.
Her strength, courage, faith and focus on her Lord carried her through. She would have it known how grateful and thankful she is to the many kind caring nurses at Moses Taylor Hospital and, more recently, at the dialysis
unit in Childs. She truly thought the world of them all and of course her dear physicians: Drs. Prior and Eagan who were with her all of the years.
She couls not say enough good things about them. Her family thanks each of them for their love and care for her- thank you so very much.

Annabel made so many dear friends throughout her 32 years of working in Carbondale dress factories, most of them at G & S, as a floor girl. She was loved by them all as they called her “Annie” and shared so many memories through the years with her.

As her daughter- I am so thankful to have been given such a loving, kind and gentle person to be my mother and I know she is waiting for her family to join her in glory one day. Until then Mom, my love goes with you.

She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Community Bible Church in recent years. Before that, the Finch Hill Baptist Church was her home church, which her grandmother Annie Gardner helped to establish, and the church that she loved dearly.

She is additionally survived by beloved family, A sister: Eloise Goodrich, Greenfield; a half brother: Rolland White, Tompkinsville; 3 grandchildren:
